Descriptive Study Evaluating Nurses Knowledge and Practices Regarding Tracheostomy Care in ICU Patients.

Background: ICU patient tracheostomy care is a fundamental nursing procedure. The might result in difficulties and causes great deal of anxiety patients. A low level can have negative consequences such as longer hospital stays, slower recovery times, greater mortality rates. Aim: To evaluate nurses' knowledge practises Study Design: descriptive research study design was used. Methodology: 75 nurses who worked the three public hospitals Lahore—Mayo Hospital, Jinnah Shaikh Zayed Hospital—were included study's sample. Nurses' were assessed by direct observation using checklist, their self-structured questionnaire. analysis data done SPSS v 20.0. Results: All participants nurses.
